Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) / Speech-to-Text
The
last module that I completed was Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) /Speech-to-Text. This module was a great resource for information about ASR and
Speech-to-text. It provided a review of the benefits of using this type of
assistive technology and appropriate cases and considerations for whom ASR
would be a great tool for. This type of assistive technology would work great
for individuals with poor fine motor skills that have trouble writing on their
own. I suggest you check out some of the information and resources that this
module provides because it can be a great tool for students in your class with
the relevant disabilities.
