Talking
word processors are a great tool for students with disabilities in typing words
on the computer. These software programs provide the student with talking
feedback as they write. They often echo each letter as it is typed and each
word when the spacebar is pressed. This is a great tool for students with
learning disabilities and students with visual impairments. Some common brands
of talking word processors include Write:Outloud,
eReader, and Type & Talk.
