Books on Cd are a great tool for students who
have trouble reading, have a learning disability that affects their reading, or
have visual impairments. Books on CD are and audio version of books that are
used in conjunction with real print books or displayed print. They are also
great because they often have a signal (usually a sound/ chimes) to let the
student know when to turn the page. There are many books that are made with accompanied
CDs and a great place to find them is at your local library! There are also
digital versions available online from a number of sources including Speekaboos, and Audiobook Treasury.
